"Spreading Kindness: Global Youth Making a Difference in the Lives of Undocumented Workers"
Today is Global Youth Day, and our passionate and dedicated youths are making a significant impact by serving as the hands and feet of Jesus. Their project involves distributing 50 bagged lunches to undocumented workers at the Spring Valley Central Crossing shopping mall. These individuals face various challenges, including employment, housing, financial, and food insecurity due to their undocumented status. By providing them with a meal for the day, they aim to convey the message of a caring Savior who embraces and supports all.

The venue for this impactful initiative is the Central Crossing Shopping Mall, located at 175 NY-59. they have strategically chosen this location, right in front of Popeye's, to ensure maximum visibility and accessibility. Their event will take place from 8-10 am, allowing them to reach a significant number of individuals during this time.

We are fortunate to have the capable leadership of Dailee Louise, our Youth Director, who has taken charge since her appointment this year. Dailee's ability to rally the youth and her peers to join in this endeavor is truly remarkable and inspiring. Her dedication and passion for serving others have made her the perfect person for this moment in time.

Now, you may be curious about where the food for this project came from. We are grateful to the Corner Deli in Tallman, NY, who generously provided discounted bag lunches consisting of a sandwich, bottled water, and a bag of chips at no expense to the church. Their support has been invaluable, and we are truly grateful for their partnership.

We invite everyone to join the youths in this venture from 8-10 am at the Central Crossing Shopping Mall. Together, let's make a difference in the lives of these undocumented workers and show them the love and compassion of our community. Stay tuned for updates on the positive impact of Global Youth Day.
